To gather the strength to forge ahead in the new academic year and clarify the development direction, NCIS successively held pre-service training for newly recruited teachers, a staff meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year, and a teaching seminar from August 18th to 20th. All the faculty and staff gathered on campus to welcome the arrival of the new semester together.
01 | Pre-service training for newly recruited teachers
8月18日，学校为全体新入职教师举办了岗前培训。本次培训紧密围绕学校作为IB世界学校的核心定位，重点向新教师们介绍了IB教育的理念精髓、课程框架结构、特色教学方法以及学校的具体工作规范和文化。通过培训，旨在帮助新教师快速熟悉学校的运作流程和要求，为他们顺利融入南昌国际学校这个国际化教育团队，开启教学生涯做好充分准备。
On August 18th, we held a pre-service training for all newly recruited teachers. This training closely revolved around the school’s core positioning as an IB World School, and focused on introducing the essence of IB education concepts, the framework structure of the curriculum, distinctive teaching methods, as well as the school’s specific work norms and culture to the new teachers. Through training, the aim is to help new teachers quickly familiarize themselves with the school’s operation processes and requirements, and to fully prepare them for a smooth integration into the international education team of NCIS and the start of their teaching careers.

8月19日，新学期首次全体教职工大会在学校会议室举行，全体教职员工齐聚一堂。
On August 19th, the first staff meeting of the new semester was held in the school conference room, where all the teaching and administrative staff gathered together.
执行校长郭爱香全面回顾了过去一学年学校在教育教学、国际化特色发展等方面取得的显著成果。她强调，新学年学校将继续坚持高质量、国际化办学方向，要求全体教职工以学生全面发展为中心，持续深化IB课程改革，提升育人品质，为培养具优秀学子而接续奋斗。
Executive Principal Guo Aixiang comprehensively reviewed the remarkable achievements the school had made in education and teaching, as well as in the development of international characteristics over the past academic year. She emphasized that in the new academic year, the school will continue to adhere to the direction of high-quality and internationalized education. She requires all faculty and staff to center on the all-round development of students, continuously deepen the IB curriculum reform, enhance the quality of education, and strive to cultivate outstanding students.
IB PYP 协调员Sarah对新学期的教学重点工作进行了安排。行政副校长吕艺就新学期的行政管理工作提出了具体要求。
Sarah, the IB PYP coordinator, has arranged the key teaching tasks for the new semester. Vice Principal Lu Yi in charge of administration put forward specific requirements for the administrative management work in the new semester.

紧随其后，为将新学年的蓝图切实转化为课堂实践，8月20日，召开全体教师教学研讨会。本次研讨会聚焦课程的有效实施与创新，通过分组讨论、工作坊和案例分享等多种形式，深入探讨了单元教学设计、差异化教学策略、评估方式优化等核心议题。教师们围绕真实的教学情境积极交流，分享经验，共同破解难题，现场研讨氛围热烈而深入。
Immediately following, in order to effectively transform the blueprint for the new academic year into classroom practice, a teaching seminar for all teachers was held on August 20th. This seminar focused on the effective implementation and innovation of the curriculum. Through various forms such as group discussions, workshops, and case sharing, it delved deeply into core issues like unit teaching design, differentiated teaching strategies, and optimization of assessment methods. Teachers actively exchanged ideas around real teaching scenarios, shared experiences, and jointly solved problems. The on-site discussion atmosphere was lively and in-depth.
