Students tackled multi-step challenges such as analyzing shopping receipts, calculating track-meet times, and converting recipes, all requiring careful decimal precision. Guiding every task was a consistent four-step problem-solving process: understand the question, plan an approach, carry out the calculations, and reflect by checking for reasonableness. This structured cycle helped students build confidence, accuracy, and deeper mathematical thinking.
