On Saturday, November 29th, under a bright and sunny sky, we welcomed many families to Nanchang International School for a morning full of discovery and inspiration. We want to sincerely thank you for coming. By choosing to step inside, you gave education the chance to be seen as it truly is.
PART 1 走进课堂 看见学习真实发生
这一次，您不是“听人说”，而是亲眼所见——
This time, you didn’t just “hear about it” – you saw it for yourself:
作为积极的探究者，四年级的学生们运用数字工具搜寻艺术史料，分析作品的形式特征与历史背景；作为批判性的思考者，他们通过撰写研究笔记，梳理个人观点与艺术内涵的联系；最终在成果展示中，学生们以充满个性的艺术评论，展现了对其作品独特的观点与情感共鸣。
As inquirers, students utilized digital resources to investigate artistic context and formal qualities. As critical thinkers, they analyzed connections between artistic elements and cultural significance through structured research notes. Finally, as communicators, they articulated personal perspectives through sophisticated art criticism.
在英语课上，学生们从简单句式入手，通过合作探索，逐渐掌握了让表达更生动、更有力的写作方法。
In English class, students started with simple sentences and, through collaboration and exploration, built their own tools for more vivid and powerful writing. Those bright, engaged eyes were proof of the joy of active learning.
在音乐课上，孩子们用身体打击乐探索节奏，用脚步走近乐器，感受声音与身体的共鸣。原来，音乐可以这样“玩”出来。
In Music class, children explored rhythm through body percussion, moving around the room to discover how sound and movement come together. This is how music is truly “played.”
在语文课《牛和鹅》中，孩子们跟着故事里的“我”一起换位思考，体会“换个角度看问题”的智慧。思考，就这样在课堂中悄然生长。
In Chinese class, through the text “The Cow and the Goose,” students stepped into the shoes of the narrator and experienced the wisdom of “seeing things from a different perspective.” Thinking grew naturally in that space.
PART 2 面对面交流 读懂教育初心

We discussed how our integrated curriculum honors both Chinese culture and global perspectives；We talked about how small class sizes allow teachers to recognize each child’s uniqueness and provide just the right guidance；And we looked ahead together: at NCIS, education isn’t just about the next step—it’s about nurturing true lifelong learners, ready for the future.
PART 3 从学前到初中 一条清晰的成长路径

From age 2 to 15, we provide a warm and solid pathway for every stage of a child’s development:
学前部：在全英文、游戏化的环境中，尊重孩子的成长节奏，让学习自然发生；
Early Years: A fully English, play-based environment that respects each child’s natural pace of learning；
小学部：在IB PYP框架下，融合国家课程标准，打下扎实的双语基础与学科能力；
Primary Department: Built on the IB PYP framework, integrating national standards to build a strong bilingual and academic foundation；
