Admission Process

Enrollment Guide – International Section 国际部入学流程

Admission Objects 招生对象:

  • Student and/or one of their parents is a non-Chinese Citizen holding a valid working/resident permit in China.
  • Student and/or one of their parents has a green card of a foreign country
  • Student and/or one of their parents is Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan compatriot
  • 学生和/或父母任意一方是非中国籍，且持有在中国工作或居留许可证件。
  • 学生和/或父母任意一方持有外国绿卡。
  • 学生和/或父母任意一方是香港/澳门/台湾同胞。

Admission Process 入读流程：

  • Make an appointment for a school visit with the Admission/Registration Office.
  • Parents must complete and sign the CWA Student Application Form and CWA Medical History Form, pay the non-refundable Application Fee of RMB 2,300 and submit both forms to the school. Note: Payment of the Application Fee does not guarantee admission.
  • Parents must also submit the following during their Application:
    • Academic records in English
    • A photocopy of both the parents’ and child’s passport and visa/resident permit information
    • Three recent passport-sized photos of the child
    • A copy of the vaccination record of the student
    • Records of any Special Educational Needs testing (if applicable)
  • Invitation letter: Interview & Entry Assessment in English, Mathematics, Chinese (if needed), and Social-Emotional Development
  • Acceptance letter: positive outcome of the assessment
  • Payment tuition fee
  • Start your First Day in Changsha WES Academy
  • 通过以下渠道获取信息：
  • 与招生/注册处预约，安排学校参观。
  • 家长需要为每名学生填写并递交完整的《学生入学申请表》及《医药与病历记录》，同时缴交（不可退还的）每人2300元的注册费。备注：学校收取注册费只意味着接受报名，但不意味着一定会录取该名学生。
  • 家长在申请时，还需递交以下资料：
    • 英文版的学习成绩记录
    • 家长和孩子的护照、签证或居住证复印件各一份
    • 三张护照大小尺寸的学生照片
    • 学生疫苗接种记录复印件一份。
    • 其它“特殊教育需求”测试记录（若有）
  • 面试邀请函：邀请学生进行英文水平和社会情绪发展情况的面试&入学评估，在必要时，也会安排对孩子的中文和数学水平进行测试。
  • 录取通知书：评估通过。
  • 支付学费。

Assessment Contents 考试内容:

  • Written tests (for G3 and above): English, Mathematics and Chinese.
  • Interview: To assess students suitability for their chosen course and their level of oral English.
  • Parent interview.
  • 笔试（适用于申请G3及以上的孩子）：英语、数学和语文。
  • 面试：英语口语和综合素质。
  • 家长面谈。
